WHAT IS HOPE 4 ME PEER TO PEER SUPPORT GROUP?
Hope 4 Me Peer to Peer Support Group was started with the belief that every single one of us is resilient, and that our resilience can be fostered with the help and support of a peer community. Our group provides the place and space for personal growth, self-reflection, learning, and bonding. We invite you to find out more information and hope you will join us.
LEARNING
Each month we dedicate a portion of our group meeting for an education forum. Discussion topics are selected by peer members. All members are encourage to contribute to this learning and sharing opportunity.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR EMOTIONS
You may be a little intimidated, maybe a bit afraid to share your struggles with a group of strangers. At Hope 4 Me, we know that feeling. We understand that disclosing your emotions can be difficult and scary, rest assured you will only find understanding and empathy with in our group. Every member has had a first meeting, some of us cried, some sat silent, it is up to you what you share, and when you share. You are always welcome to check us out and see if we are a good fit for your situation.

ALL ABOUT HOPE 4 ME PEER TO PEER SUPPORT GROUP
Hope 4 Me Peer to Peer Support Group provides a supportive environment and information to everyone and anyone struggling with mental health. Since 2014, we have been Essex County's, one of a kind Peer-to-Peer support group. We are composed of a welcoming and experienced community of peers who are ready to listen, share experiences, and offer whatever they can to help.
We are proud to be a reliable source of comfort, compassion, and understanding.
Hope 4 Me works in affiliation with Hope+Me, Mood Disorder Association of Ontario which provides support, training and resources for Peer Facilitators.
In person meeting are held at
Erie Shore Healthcare ( Leamington Hospital)
194 Talbot St. West, Leamington, ON.
Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd
Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 pm.
Masks are required to enter the hospital.
Please meet at the Emergency Department entrance by 6:25 pm for an escort to the meeting room.
Due to Covid 19 our group meetings are also on a virtual platform. Please email for a link to the virtual meetings.
